Would it really be Christmas if I didn’t mention Charlotte Tilbury? I think it is plainly obvious that it’s one of my favourite make up brands so obviously I had to mention it somewhere in my Christmas posts! Over the last two years I have been lucky enough to get my hands on the CT limited edition eyeshadow palette and this year is no different! If you want to have starry eyes to hypnotise this Christmas, this palette should be on your list for Father Christmas!
I may be a sucker for a new Charlotte Tilbury product but if I’m being honest I haven’t tried a product from the brand that I haven’t liked. Every year they release a new 12 pan palette in the most gorgeous packing and this year it was called Starry Eyes to Hypnotise. It is in midnight blue packaging with a silver sparkly star on the top… I mean the packaging is a selling point on it’s own!
Although they release a palette every year, I find with each new palette there are new looks to create. This palette was very different from previous years in terms of colours as there was a green look, and a blue/silver look whereas the previous two palettes have been more warm red/orange looks.
I love how versatile the Starry Eyes to Hypnotise palette is as it still has the two more wearable looks for daytime and then for a more dramatic look the drama and seduce glow are perfect. All the eyeshadows in this palette are so creamy and really blendable and compliment each other really well. There is also little fallout from these shadows which is amazing. I have so many palettes where I end up with eyeshadow over half my face but this palette just doesn’t do that!
Although this palette is a quite pricey at £60, I would say that if there is a huge make up lover in your life, this palette would make the perfect Christmas present. It’s one palette that can create so many wearable looks, and is so user friendly. It is also limited edition which means it won’t be around forever and lets be honest when I saw that I was sold!
If you want to see how this palette compares to previous years, here is the 2018 blog post and the 2017 blog post. Also, If you haven’t already, check out my social media as I use it to update you all on new blog posts!
