Pretty much everyone I know has an IPhone (apart from my apple hating fiancé) including me who has been a relentless apple lover for the last 10 years. I got the IPhone 11 Pro Max last year and wanted to share an honest review of what I think of it.
I decided to go for the larger of the pro phones, having had the Iphone X in the normal size, as I wanted to see what it would be like to have a phone with a larger screen. I have to say I love the bigger screen, It’s so nice to be able to see everything clearly without having to squint (shout out to all the other glasses wearings gals) and be able to see all the detail in everything.
I also obviously use my phone to take a million and one photos and being able to see all the details in my photo is so handy, especially when I’m editing them.
Talking of photos, the Iphone 11 Pro has three cameras on the back which are amazing! I take pretty much all of my photos on it now and I think I would honestly struggle to tell the difference between an iphone photo and a camera photo. The front facing camera is also very good, not quite as good as the three on the back and it can be grainy when taking photos inside but it is definitely an upgrade from the Iphone X.
One thing that can be annoying when taking photos (according to my fiancé who takes majority of my photos!) is that now when trying to take a burst you have to hold and drag the button to the left instead of just holding down the button as previously. He finds this very frustrating as you end up swiping across and taking videos etc instead of a burst.
Although I love the big screen and am glad I went for the larger size, I do have quite small hands, so I often find it quite hard to hold and getting my thumb to reach the left hand side of the screen can often be a challenge. I definitely should try and get hold of a pop socket… however I’m just not sure how I feel about them so we will see!
I went for the space grey colour, which I love, as I wanted it to match my other tech but it does come in a few other colours. In terms of how the phone works, it is much the same as the other IPhones which I personally like as it’s part of the reason I always go back to iphone. I do find however that the storage fills up much more quickly.
Overall, I love this phone and am very glad I chose it. So far is hasn’t gone wrong for me and I continue to find new features on it which I love and are super handy.
