As it’s the first day of Autumn and everyone is getting ready for cosier evenings I thought I would write a post on some new skincare that i’ve been trying. Decleor has been a brand I’ve only ever experienced when enjoying a spa day and I’d never really thought that you could get their products anywhere else.
So I was super excited when my boyfriend surprised me with some of their lovely products for my birthday. I received the Decleor day set and the Decleor night set. The Decleor day set included the Aroma cleansing milk, Aroma tonifying lotion, Aroma confort moisturising body milk and the nourishing oil serum. The night set included cleansing milk and tonifying lotion (the same as in the day set) but also came with the 3 in 1 hydra-radiance smoothing and cleansing mousse as well as the youthful night balm.
I want to start by saying that all the products smell phenomenal, they have that really luxurious spa smell. The cleansing milk is light, fragranced and feels as if it gives a deep clean on the skin. It works into the skin nicely and really leaves your skin and pores feeling clean and nourished. One thing I will say about the cleansing milk is that it really is like milk and not very thick at all. So be careful when you pour this out as you could end up using more than you intend to!
The cleansing milk leaves your skin feeling clean but the tonifying lotion really gives your skin a new lease of life. I feel like the tonifying lotion really gives your skin a new lease of life and makes you look clean, fresh and awake. It smells divine, applies easily if put on cotton wool and really helps rid impurities on the skin.
Onto the moisturising body milk which does exactly what it says on the tin, moisturises! This moisturiser is so luxurious, it’s thick and creamy and sinks into the skin easily leaving behind beautifully bouncy silky smooth skin. I love using this product over my whole body when I can, although let’s be honest sometimes you just don’t have time to apply everywhere!
Now onto the nourishing oil serum, which is one of my new favourite products. All you need is a few drops on the palm of your hand, and you will be able to cover your whole face! The product smells incredible, and leaves your skin feeling nourished, plump and alive without leaving your skin greasy! I apply this product before moisturiser to give my skin the best chance of absorbing all its goodness.
Finally onto the youthful night balm, another of my new favourite products. Again a little bit goes a long way with this product. It comes with a little scraper and literally one scrape is enough to sufficiently cover your whole face. As this is a night balm, it is slightly thicker than daytime products but I think this means you can really feel the benefits of the product. You can really feel this product working to regenerate the skin so that you can wake up with smoother, brighter and fresher looking skin!
As you can tell, I love Decleor products and wish I had discovered them earlier. Although pricey, I feel my skin has never looked better since using these products and as a little bit goes a long way these products will last you a long time.
