Charlotte Tilbury Haul!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetCharlotte Tilbury is fast becoming one of my favourite make up brands. I just love everything about it down to the packaging. I was lucky enough to receive lots of lovely new products for Christmas that I want to share with you all.

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetI had been lusting after the new instant eyeshadow palette for so long and I finally manages to get my hands on it. I love that it has 12 versatile shades to take you from day time to night time. There are a range of shimmer shades and matte shades that I love using to create a range of smokey looks! I think my favourite looks are going to be the desk eye and the date eye. The rose gold packaging also makes this product look so high end and the fact is has a large mirror inside is just super helpful!

As I have not owned any Charlotte Tilbury skin makeup before I was super excited to try the light wonder foundation. This foundation is phenomenal! It is a light to medium coverage and is very watery in the bottle. However, you don’t need to apply much to get a even coverage and after a bit of blending it applies smoothly to your face. I also found the colour i’ve got matches perfectly to my skin and makes it look like i’m not wearing any foundation at all! It also has spf 15 in it to care for your skin which is an extra bonus.

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetTo go with this I also received The Retoucher concealer. I tested this in the shop and new I wanted to try it. The concealer has a good coverage, hiding all those blemishes without feeling cakey on the skin. I also love that this is a twist concealer meaning you don’t have to spend ages scraping the bottom of your concealer tube to get the last drops out! ALso I bought 2 Fair in this product and it’s perfect for the pale english rose that I am!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetI absolutely love my charlotte tilbury lipsticks, so I was so so excited to receive two more for Christmas. Charlotte Tilbury had released some new limited edition lipsticks and after seeing Hello October wearing Shanghai Nights I knew I wanted to try it. The packaging on this lipstick is beautiful in a red box with gold and red detailing showing the shanghai skyline. The lipstick is a beautiful deep sultry red matte revolution lipstick. I just find matte lipsticks so easy to wear as they don’t tend to move very much when on. I cant wait to go for a night out in order to try out this beautiful colour!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetThe other lipstick is got was the Bond Girl Matte Revolution lipstick which is a natural berry red with what I would say where slightly plum undertones. This lipstick looks beautiful in the tube and would make a good lipstick for transitioning between daytime and evening. I love the name of this lipstick, it’s so sassy and makes me feel like a strong independent woman when I wear it!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetThe final product I received was the Hollywood Lips liquid lipstick in Too Bad, I’m Bad. I won’t go on about this too much as I talked about it in one of my previous posts. So you can go over there and have a read. However, this lipstick is a beautiful warm pink that applies smoothly. This is such a lovely daytime colour and really brings your face to life (weird expression I know). The lipstick also has a really nice consistency when it dries down. If you’re a liquid lipstick lover like me I would definitely give the Hollywood lips a go!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetThats it for the products I was super lucky to recieve. However Charlotte Tilbury did give me a couple of samples to try. I got the magic night cream and the wonder glow samples. I thought this was a great idea as these two samples are skincare products that I have wanted to try forever! Having these samples means I can try the products to see whether I like them before I actually buy them as they are quite pricey!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetI have tried to keep each explanation of the products brief so I don’t waffle or bore you, however if you do have any questions about the products mentioned let me know in the comments and I will get back to you!
